Here is the brief description of all the sections.

1. Reading
Read 3 or 4 passages from academic texts and answer questions.
  •  60 or 80 min
  •  3 or 4 tasks
    • 36 or 56 questions
    • 12 to 14 questions/task
2. Listening
Listen to lectures, classroom discussions and conversations, then answer questions.
  • 60 or 90 min 
  • 6 or 9 tasks
    • 34 or 51 questions
    • 4 or 6 lectures
      • 6 questions/lecture
    • 2 or 3 conversations
      • 5 questions/conversation
3. Speaking
Express an opinion on a familiar topic; speak based on reading and listening tasks.
  • 20 min 
  • 6 tasks
    • Task 1 & 2 - Independent
    • Task 3 & 4 - Integrated (Reading and Listening)
    • Task 5 & 6 - Integrated (Listening)
4. Writing
Write essay responses based on reading and listening tasks; support an opinion in writing.
  •  60 min
  •  2 tasks
    • Task 1 - Integrated (Read - Listen - Write)
    • Task 2 - Independent
